Since his time with the Leningrad Duo / St. Peterburg Duo with Vjacheslav Guyvoronsky, he became known as a solist as well and his bands / ensembles made their own reputation.
Vershki da Koreshki is one of his ambitious projects, the Volkov Trio dates from 1995 with the members Slava Kurashov (guitar) and Denis "Ringo" Sladkeyevich (drums). Unfortunately there is no CD out until now.
